Ingredients

  • 6 hard-boiled eggs

  • 6 slices of bacon (optional)

  • 5 tbsp mayonnaise

  • 1 tbsp mustard

  • 1 tbsp finely chopped chives

  • 0.5 tbsp Tabasco® sauce

  • Salt

  • Paprika

Directions

  1. In a saucepan of cold water, cook the eggs for 10 minutes after boiling. Shell the eggs and set aside.
  2. Heat the frying pan over high heat. Wait for the Thermo-Signal to turn completely red before searing your ingredients. Place the bacon slices on top and toast until caramel-coloured. Set aside on absorbent paper.
  3. Halve the eggs and remove the yolks.
  4. In a bowl, add the yolks, mayonnaise, mustard, chives and Tabasco. Whisk until stiff. Season with salt.
  5. Fill the egg white halves with the mixture using a teaspoon or a pastry bag fitted with a fluted tip.
  6. Sprinkle with paprika, bacon bits and chive sticks.
  7. Bacon is not a compulsory ingredient in this recipe, but adds a touch of crunch that can be replaced by fried onions, for example.

Pro Tip

Skip boiling and try air frying your eggs! Preheat the Infrared air fryer to 270°F and cook the eggs for 15-17 minutes. Then, cool them in ice water for 5-10 minutes. They’ll be easy to peel and perfect for deviled eggs. It's quicker, simpler, and just as delicious!
